Challenge

Orbitz was seeking some new search concepts to tests with their users. Orbitz contracted me to work as Concept Designer as part of the Research and Development Team for a three month period.

Role

  • Created concepts
  • Designed process flows
  • Designed wireframes
  • Created visual designs
  • Prototyped new search concepts

While I began the project wireframing in MS Visio, I convinced the Orbitz team that HTML would be a better solution. HTML wireframes were then created using Dreamweaver because HTML allows for easier user testing, improved client communication, and faster, more effective use of design time.

Results

Successfully developed a new search prototype for the Research and Development team utilizing MS Visio, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as Macromedia Dreamweaver.
